格莱美奖的由来和历史
格莱美起源于美国著名的星光大道上。20世纪50年代，美国洛杉矶一批音乐人和唱片公司管理人员决议，要评选一批优秀年度最优秀的音乐从业人们，并将获得殊荣的音乐人名称永远镌刻在这条林荫大道上。但是，很快，他们发现值得获得这份荣耀的人实在太多了——于是他们改变主意，决定模仿奥斯卡和艾美奖成立一个全新的音乐类奖项。美国国家录音艺术与科学学会(简称录音学会)和名为格莱美的音乐奖因此诞生。
1958年，第一届格莱美诞生。并在1959年5月4日在加州贝弗利希尔顿酒店的大宴会厅举行了第一场晚宴和颁奖典礼。在这场典礼中，包括Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Dean Martin等传奇音乐人正装出席，不过由于场地和交通限制，还有另外一部分录音学会成员在纽约同时举行了聚会。从一开始，格莱美就展示出了它的专业性和正式性，而且紧紧跟随着时代。
第一届格莱美由著名的美国政治喜剧演员 Mort Sahl担任主持人。第一届格莱美的成功为美国唱片业打开了全新的局面，当时的Billboard在自己的杂志上用大头条写到，《大奖顺利进入轨道：第一次，巨星们有序的接受检阅(“Academy Smoothly Moves Into Orbit: First Awards Well-Organized Affair As Top Stars Go On Parade)》，并将它与奥斯卡和艾美奖相提并论。
第一届格莱美一共颁发出了12个奖项，涵盖了当年最热门的一系列音乐作品。这张短短的名单上几乎全部都是如今仍旧让人如雷贯耳的姓名。最后，Domenico Modugno成为当晚最大的赢家，Frank Sinatra也很幸运的没有空手而归。
而格莱美的名称和奖杯也是从这时就开始确定下来的——为了向发明出留声机，为音乐产业的发展壮大作出了卓越贡献的托马斯爱迪生致敬，录音学会特意设计制作出了留声机形状的奖杯。而格莱美(Grammy)的名称也来源于留声机的英文名谐音，Gramophone。
随后，格莱美坚持每年举办评选，从未中断。一开始的几届格莱美，一直是隔着海湾，在加州和纽约两地同时举行的，后来多次改变地点，也一直以加州和纽约的著名音乐厅为主，而坐落于加州洛杉矶的斯台普斯中心(STAPLES CENTER)成为近些年来格莱美最心水的场馆。
格莱美奖获奖最多的人
碧昂丝再次创造历史。综合美联社、CNN、每日邮报报道，2023年格莱美奖正在进行中，碧昂丝有9项提名。目前，碧昂丝已入4座奖杯，总数上达到32座，打破已故匈牙利指挥家乔治·索尔第保持的纪录，成为历史上获格莱美奖次数最多的人。
据悉，碧昂丝此前已拥有28座格莱美奖杯，已故的匈牙利指挥家乔治·索尔第则得过31次格莱美奖。本届格莱美中，碧昂丝有“年度专辑”“年度歌曲”在内的9项提名。
2022年7月29日，碧昂丝发布第七张录音室专辑《RENAISSANCE》，共收录16首歌曲。为了制作该专辑，碧昂丝在录音室里待上了一年半，从几千种声音中找到合适的底鼓或军鼓。她表示，该专辑的一段合音中可以有多达200个叠加的和声，在制作专辑中她感受到前所未有的爱、激情和治愈。
专辑中的收录曲《Break My Soul》则获得2023年格莱美“年度歌曲”在内的3项提名。2022年全美音乐奖中，这首歌已获“最受欢迎R&B歌曲”奖。
当地时间2023年2月5日，第65届格莱美颁奖礼在洛杉矶举行，碧昂丝已凭借《Cuff It》《Break My Soul》《Plastic Off the Sofa》获得3座奖杯。此外，她的专辑《RENAISSANCE》也获得了“最佳舞曲/电子专辑”，这也就是说，碧昂丝已打破乔治·索尔第的纪录。
当晚第四座奖杯收入囊中后，碧昂丝说：“我希望自己不要太过激动，接受这个夜晚。”
据悉，碧昂丝1981年9月4日出生于美国得克萨斯州休斯敦，美国女歌手、演员。1993年，她以组合天命真女成员身份出道。2003年，碧昂丝开始个人发展，并发行首张个人专辑《Dangerously in Love》。
2008年4月4日，碧昂丝与Jay-Z在纽约完婚 ，两人是音乐界首对个人资产突破10亿美元的夫妇。
